Lexi has a lot of hair. My scissors isn’t cutting her hair properly. Not sure if it’s my scissors or the synthetic hair. Maybe both. I bought her to practice braiding. But because it’s synthetic hair, it gets tangled very easily. You have to be gentle with her as well. A lot of hair came out when I was combing her. All in all, I would recommend a human hair manikin instead.

|really bad hair fake or real,
My daughter bought this for her daughter who is 12 years old. As long as you don’t touch the hair its fine, but when you try to braid or style the hair it tangles really bad. She spent most of her time trying to brush out the knots. Would not recommend this manniquin to anyone.

|An ok product,
I received the manikin head very promptly. I was a little surprised by the size of the head. I expected it to be the size of a wig styling head and it was quite a bit smaller (like a large doll’s head). The hair was very synthetic but that didn’t surprise me because after all that’s what I paid for. I bought this for practicing updos and braids but don’t think it’ll be easy to work with due to it’s slippery type hair. I will probably order the human hair version, although it cost quite a bit more. In short, you get what you pay for.

I’m a cosmetoloy student and I needed a long, human hair mannequin to practice my piggyback perms and updos on for project grades at school. While not fitting perfectly on my mannequin stand, it still has been a blessing to have at school and work with since I bought it, and the price, tax, shipping, and all makes me feel like I made out like a bandit! I would recommeded it to other cosmetology students!

|Perfect to practice for Board exam,
I purchased this for my Grandaughter to practice on for her state board exam. According to my Granddaughter, the thickness of the hair was just right, she was able to practice several hair cuts, sectioned beautifully and also held a finger wave
